The annual meeting for the Pioneer Park Golf Club took place on November 30, 2004 at the golf course’s clubhouse.  There were several members present and a lot of good ideas and decisions were reached.  Please find a summary of this year’s meeting below:

Women’s Association President – Jane Hoover

1. Bill Greenfield presented the financial report for 2004.  There was some discussion on ensuring the need of collecting the account receivables.  There was agreement among the membership present to continue the relationship that we have with M&M Consultants, as they have done a good job this last year.

2. Oscar Cano presented a summary recap of activities & improvements at the golf course this last year.

3. A motion was passed for the board of directors to pursue hiring someone for the golf course.  There was considerable discussion and agreement of the membership present that all issues of job description, work comp., etc. etc. be addressed and in place.

4. The membership voted to amend Article 4, Membership & Fees in the by-laws, so that Membership Dues are due on January 1, and must be paid by June 1.  A new amendment (or paragraph) to this Article states “In order for a person to rent a cart shed stall, one must be a member in good standing of the Pioneer Park Golf Club, and a person who is not a member may have to forfeit their space.  The Board of Directors of the Pioneer Park Golf Club shall have final approval on any special situations that may arise.”

5. The membership passed a motion to give Alan Newman his membership and cart shed rental for 2005.

6. Troy Bowles was elected Tournament Chairman, along with the committee members Glen Love, Sandy Cooper, Terry Cooper, & others that Troy may ask.
